Our standard interpreter rate is one of the most competitive hourly rates in the state and we even offer additional discounts for certain appointments. Some appointments such as medical interpreting legally require interpreters to have additional credentials which means there is a slightly higher hourly rate for those types of appointments. Interpreters must travel to meet you, so mileage is surcharged at the federal rate for travel compensation.

Lengthy appointments that require significant time interpreting may require two interpreters so they are able to take breaks and rest.

Every business and organization is different so we are flexible on prices and billing. Ask us about discounts, pre-purchasing hours and special rates for K - 12 interpreting.

Cancellation Policy

Life happens, things change and you may not need the interpreter you booked. Every circumstance is different, and we do our best to make accommodations for cancellations that occur.

Cancelling more than 48 hours

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your booking you can re-schedule or obtain a full refund.

Cancel less than 48 hours

If an assignment is cancelled with less than 48 hours, but more than 24 hours before your booking, you will be billed at 50% of the original booking. 

Cancel less than 24 hours or no-show

Our interpreters depend on reliable work, cancelling short notice will result in the full time being invoiced.

Being late

If the client is one (1) hour late without prior and prompt notice to the interpreter it can count as a no-show, it will be charged the full scheduled time. If the interpreter leaves as a result of lack of prompt notice (after 1 hour) it will count as a no-show. The time the interpreter waits for the client after the scheduled time will be billed at the regular rate. The time the interpreter has to stay over their scheduled time will be billed as unscheduled hours.

Simply put, you will be billed for the time an interpreter is scheduled. If they are required to stay after their scheduled time their rate will increase by the 'Unscheduled' hourly rate.

Staying late/Unscheduled

If the interpreters need to stay later than scheduled it will result in an 20% increase in hourly rate for time after scheduled appointment.

Anything more than an eight hour day will result in 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Bottom Line

Everybody needs to work together, but we are understanding, and if special circumstances arise please contact us as soon as your can. If you are a repeat customer, have an on-going contract or other circumstance the cancellation policy may be more relaxed.
